Easter Service

Saturday, March 26

Service starts at 6 p.m.

If the kids would like to practice in the sanctuary atp.m. they are more than welcome!!!

This would be extremely helpful considering the aisles and stage upstairs are each much bigger than our own next gen room. ;)

Leaders

There will be 16 leaders there to help you remember where to go and your motions! These leaders range ages 7-22 and will be wearing a ribbon on their hands for you to know who to follow.

They have practiced outside of church so you can follow whoever is in front of you and not be lost. :)

So if you forget your motions or lyrics remember first that you are worshiping  Jesus and he loves you and then find someone with a ribbon and follow them. =)

Stand behind these people so that you can see them ;)

Easter 2016

It's that time of year again!!  =) It's time to celebrate God's sacrifice and Jesus's resurrection, The Road Style!! These videos and motions are for your kids'  to practice for our Easter Service happening Saturday, March 26. The Road likes incorporating our children into our major celebratory services. No one worship's quite like our kids do. =)

Here's the idea...

Last Easter we came running into the Sanctuary, then for Christmas, y'all came in with tea lights, this year we are going to do a flash mob of sorts.... =) Kids you are going to start the service sitting with your parents. =)

There will be 7 leaders on stage for the beginning of God's NOT Dead, our first song, for the first verse doing some motions.

Anyone without kids or who is knew to the road is going to just be watching and then that first time in the song that they say "My God's NOT Dead, He's Surely ALIVE" you all are going to jump up and yell as loud as you can... then you will run up on stage and join in. =)

(5-8 years old on stage, 9+ on the floor in front of the stage, stand behind the leaders)

Watch the Video and it will make more sense =) and we will be practicing this in children's church as well.

But we are going to knock the socks off of the adults. =)

We are doing the 3 songs at the beginning as usual. Songs for this Easter are:

God's NOT Dead,

My Lighthouse,

Greater.

All really awesome songs!!! Then you will get to sit back down with your parents. =)

8 Years Old and Younger =  You are going to be getting up on the stage with the other leaders

9 Years Old and OLDER = You will be starting on the floor in front of the stage and then transitioning into the aisles

FACE YOUR PARENTS!

Most of the Motions are the same so there's only one video per song- Just watch the correct person for your age. =)

Sing the Lyrics!! =) Don't just dance. We want to hear your

voices too!!

God's NOT Dead

Kids- You are starting this song sitting with your parents!

So practice sitting down and then jumping up!!

Yell as LOUD AS YOU CAN!!!

My God's NOT Dead, He's Surely ALIVE!

"God's Not Dead (Like A Lion)"

Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold to see a revolution somehow

Let love explode and bring the dead to life
A love so bold to bring a revolution somehow

Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome

[2x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

Roaring, He's roaring, roaring like a lion

Let hope arise and make the darkness hide
My faith is dead I need resurrection somehow
Now I'm lost in Your freedom
In this world I'll overcome

[2x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

Roaring, He's roaring, roaring like a lion
He's roaring, He's roaring

[3x]
Let heaven roar
And fire fall
Come shake the ground
With the sound
Of revival

[4x]
My God's not dead
He's surely alive
He's living on the inside
Roaring like a lion

He's roaring, He's roaring, He's roaring like a lion [2x]

My Lighthouse

Kids who are 9 years old and up, you will be moving into the aisles

DURING this song,

not before like we normally do. =)

"My Lighthouse"

In my wrestling and in my doubts
In my failures You won't walk out
Your great love will lead me through
You are the peace in my troubled sea
You are the peace in my troubled sea

My Lighthouse, my lighthouse
Shining in the darkness, I will follow You
My Lighthouse, my Lighthouse
I will trust the promise,
You will carry me safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore

I won't fear what tomorrow brings
With each morning I'll rise and sing
My God's love will lead me through
You are the peace in my troubled sea
You are the peace in my troubled sea

My Lighthouse, my lighthouse
Shining in the darkness, I will follow You
My Lighthouse, my Lighthouse
I will trust the promise,
You will carry me safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore (Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Safe to shore

Greater

"Greater"

Bring your tired
Bring your shame
Bring your guilt
Bring your pain
Don't you know that's not your name
You will always be much more to me

Everyday I wrestle with the voices
That keep telling me I'm not right
But that's alright

Cause I hear a voice and he calls me redeemed
When others say I'll never be enough
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
In the world
In the world
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world

Bring your doubts
Bring your fears
Bring your hurt
Bring your tears
There'll be no condemnation here
You are holy, righteous and redeemed

Every time I fall
There'll be those who will call me
A mistake
Well that's ok

Cause I hear a voice and he calls me redeemed
When others say I'll never be enough
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
In the world
In the world
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world

2x
There'll be days I lose the battle
Grace says that it doesn't matterCause the cross already won the warHe's GreaterHe's Greater

I am learning to run freely
Understanding just how he sees me
And it makes me love him more and more
He's Greater
He's Greater

Cause I hear a voice and he calls me redeemed
When others say I'll never be enough
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world
In the world
In the world
And greater is the One living inside of me
Than he who is living in the world

There'll be days I lose the battle
Grace says that it doesn't matter
Cause the cross already won the war
He's Greater
He's Greater

I am learning to run freely
Understanding just how he sees me
And it makes me love him more and more
He's Greater
He's Greater
He who is living the world

After Greater we do the chorus to

My Lighthouse again

TWICE!!

After we are done go sit back down with your parents!!
